We will cover ten finishes and these will be carried out on large sample boards that will be yours to take home and to show prospective clients.

Preparation is key.
Once we have got to meet each other and safety brief has been completed. We will spend day 1 preparing all of the sample boards that we are going to be completed in our intensive week.

We will cover the different backgrounds that are needed for each individual finish.

On top of this, each student will have their own booth to prepare. The booth is to replicate areas that you will cover on a real life job.

This is where the fun really begins.
We will cover mixing and application of materials to our 10 sample boards. In the afternoon, breaking out into the booth areas, where we have simulated a real life wall and ceiling scenario.

Application of 2nd & 3rd coats Day 3 View more +

Application of 2nd & 3rd coats.
Taking our sample boards and booths sections to the next level. We will cover multiple trowelling methods, such as burnishing, skipping, grazing.

Polishing, waxing and De-brief Day 4 View more +

Finishing touches.
Here we will cover the various ways to finish the products that you have covered on the course. Using waxes, polishes, tints and effects.

We will also spend some time protecting the samples that you have created for safe transit.

Any final questions can be discussed during this time too.
