Where are the plasters from?
We use both imported plasters from Italy and also 0 VOC plasters from the USA. We also use 0 VOC tints, and waxes. (Waxes are only used under certain conditions)
Are these finishes toxic?
The Plasters we recommend are “GREEN” and contain no VOC’s.
Can my walls be patched?
Once you wax a plaster this makes it very hard to patch. Our Green plasters patch very hard and we always leave the customer a container of their plaster so they can patch. We will take the time to show you how to do this.
How much will this cost?
Please see our price page for pricing or feel free to contact us.
How are these products different than the products at the home improvement stores?
Most products you will find in home improvement stores are essentially thick paint. If you compare the two products side by side, you will definitely see and feel a difference. The application of these plasters requires a trained hand.
Are these finishes toxic?
No, the finishes are not toxic. The standards in Europe are much stricter than in the USA. None of our plasters contain toxic waste.
Can I live in my house while the work is being done?
We understand what an inconvenience having workers in your home can be. Many trades have a tendency to take on more work than they can do, working one day on your home and one day on someone else's house. We believe in scheduling our jobs and staying with one at a time from start to finish if possible. Not only do we cover and protect your home, we clean up every day and never leave a mess. We take great pride in our work and also in the manner in which we perform it.
What if I want to change in the future?
In most cases, you can just paint right over the walls because there are no waxes. Sometimes, you can just go over it with another coat of the product to change the color.
How do I prepare a room?
If you could take down anything that may be hanging on your walls and move any large awkward objects like fish tanks or pianos, we can take care of the rest.
How do I clean my new walls?
In most cases, you can use soap and water or even put some ammonia in the water. Just don't clean with abrasives.
